I really like how were playing shows with these bigger bands that weve seen before and who we love. And theyre always really nice to us; everyone in the scene is supportive, I think mostly because were a new band of teenagers, we get cool points for it, Billings said.

After having new start and end times, daily cancellations of Falcon Block and several changes in policy to seniors with early release using advisory as their Falcon Block, SPHS has finally settled on a schedule. Now with Falcon Block after first period Tuesday through Friday many seniors are able to get help with their work again, and not worry about a daily change ins cheduals. “It’s hard to find a routine to be successful if everything around us keeps changing,” senior Tatum Sale said.

On Sept. 8, Annapolis Junior Rowing (AJR) practiced a front end pick drill. AJR is based in Annapolis and its population is of students from all over Maryland. Cormac FitzGerald, a rower from Ireland moved to Maryland and joined AJR to continue his rowing career.

After having two seasons affected by Covid-19, Severna Park spring sports teams are looking forward to starting up again. Tryouts start March 1 and there are many competitive athletes who will be working to make an impact for their team this spring. “My freshman year our season ended just two weeks after tryouts and last season was not exactly normal,” junior lacrosse player Liv Tramontana said. “So I’m just excited to get back into the swing of things and enjoy time with my teammates.”
