Severna Park Football Team

The Severna Park  football team  is putting in lots of work to help their season be as successful as possible, come support your fellow classmates at their next game to show your falcons pride.

Do you want to gain more school spirit? Come join the Severna Park Falcon football team under the Friday night lights at six pm. Last Friday October third they played the Meade Mustangs and had a massive victory with a score of  44-7  for their homecoming game. This week they play the Old Mill Patriots with the theme being white out. To get into the game you can purchase your tickets on go fan for only six dollars. 

For the Meade game the top three performers were Blake Howell, Jonathan Wark and Cole Cavanaugh. Blake Howell had 114 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. Jonathan Wark had 12 carries for a total of 87 yards and two touchdowns. Wide receiver Cole Cavanaugh had three recoveries for a total of 60 yards.

The Falcons started off with a rough start to the year, losing their first two games in a row. Currently they are on a winning streak with their last three games. The next couple games are gonna be challenging while they play Old Mill, North County, Arundel and Broadneck to finish off the season.

To end the season the players are hoping to win a playoff game for the first time in many years. Come support your fellow Falcons and show some school spirit under the Friday night lights for the next upcoming games.
