The elections at the Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica on Thursday, November 9th. The honor society meets on the second Thursday of every month during falcon block. The door to Mrs. Barnstead’s room in the business hallway at SPHS. This semester, Mrs. Barnstead is teaching Leadership One and Three but next semester, she will teach Leadership Two and Entrepreneurship. “In Leadership One, Leadership Two, you go do these presentations where each group presents a project, what their goals are and there you choose your top two groups and you’ll get put in one of those two groups. And then Leadership Three you’ll create a group and with a nonprofit organization and you can choose whatever organization you want that interests you.” senior Alejandro Almodovar-Vives said.

On the observation deck of Edge, a skyscraper, overseeing the New York City skyline. My experience in this leadership position has taught me the vital skills of communication and planning. With hands-on experience working with adults and organizations, I plan to make change at a larger scale, Class President Rory Jenkins said. In college, I plan on participating in student government to make a direct impact in my college community by working alongside professors, older students, and community based organizations. Eventually, I would like to take my understanding of leadership learned through this position to the national level by becoming a member of the United States House of Representatives.

Kid Cudi is a popular rapper and singer, especially among teenagers. He performed at Captial One Arena on September 8, and many Severna Park students attended, including seniors Ashlyn Morris and Rylan McDonald. “The Kid Cudi concert was so fun,” Morris said. “He was a great performer and I enjoyed being with so many of my friends.”
