Still not feeling the urge to try playing pickleball yet, well it only gets better. Buying a quality tennis racket, lacrosse stick, or baseball bat is crucial to succeed in a sport, not in pickleball.
“No, I do not think you need a $200 pickleball paddle to be good at pickleball, but it makes it easier to play knowing I have a good paddle,” Alena Chovanec said, a pickleball player that just recently picked up the game.
Pickleball is easy to pick up as well, there is no better way to boost an athlete’s ego than to be able to pick up a sport fast.
“It is a fun game, I feel like I can get better quickly, and I absolutely love how it brings out my competitive side,” Chovanec said.
Pickleball brings people together and allows people to meet new people. You can find all kinds of athletes at the pickleball courts. Volleyball players love to finally be above the net and spike as hard as they can. Tennis players enjoy running a manageable amount to chase after a ball.
Pickleball is not just for old retired tennis players, it is for everyone. Now is your time to go book that pickleball court and try it out.
