On Saturday, May 3 the class of 2025 was able to enjoy and celebrate a fun night at the prom. The dance was followed by a prom breakfast where the senior class was able to play games, eat food, and hang out with friends. The Prom Breakfast was held in the high school cafeteria from 11:30 PM on May 3 to 2:00 AM on May 4. The breakfast allowed seniors the opportunity to make even more memories with their peers even after the dance had concluded.
One of the biggest attractions was the senior give away. A mass amount of donated and accumulated gifts were given for the Prom Breakfast and all seniors were automatically entered into the raffle. Seniors could win things such as car supplies and bedding all the way up to wireless beats, Ipads and other electronics. Senior Danny Doney was one of the many winners that night. Doney won a brand new apple watch and when asked about it said, “I was hoping to win something but I was still super surprised when I saw my name on the screen.”
Fiona Kelly was another winner of the raffle whose prize was a three in one charger and magnetic dart board.
“The Prom Breakfast was really fun and I’m happy I won the charger to use in my dorm and the dart board is super fun” commented Kelly.
In addition to the raffle there were many other games students could participate in and enjoy. From spin the wheel to ping pong ball there was plenty of entertainment to keep everyone occupied. The breakfast had a circus theme and the cafeteria was decorated with lots of carnival decorations. The class of 2025 was able to win gift cards, stuffed animals, candy, and money in the games provided so even the seniors who didn’t win the raffle didn’t leave empty handed. The parent committee of the Prom Breakfast had been working since last year to gather donations, food and activities for the class of 2025.
Prom Breakfast turned out to be a huge success and allowed students to create some last memories before heading out to college.
