Another popular activity, especially locally, is any water activities. There are so many to choose from. Swimming and boating is usually what comes to people’s minds first. There are many more water activities to choose from, jet skiing, tubing, kayaking/canoeing or fishing. These can be more solo compared to the others but they are also great options to do with the family.

Camping isn’t for everybody but being in the great outdoors with the people you love and sitting by the campfire is a great thing to do. Cooking with the fire and hearing all the birds is a very peaceful way to spend one or two days.
Road Trips can be the perfect opportunity to make new memories with your friends. Go drive to a state you have never been to before, or to a friend who moved away. Maybe go to the beach or a lake. The possibilities are endless.
Summers are known for BBQs and lemonade stands, so host a BBQ party or make lemonade from scratch just to see how it turns out. There are many fairs and markets where there are local businesses serving food and they are never a disappointment.
Picnics are a super nice and peaceful way to spend the day, just be sure to choose the perfect spot, whether that’s in a field, park or on a beach it’s up to you.
