The book kicked off with a bang, since one of the worlds in the Ascendancy was attacked. Thrawn was the Chiss in charge of figuring out why it happened and who was responsible for the attack, and the reader was led through his investigations.

Teaching with a heart transplant and pump has been difficult for math teacher Janna Kintzley, but she’s been able to make it work. Having a heart transplant-and before that a pump-has also come with multiple emotions. “I was shocked and fantastically excited,” Kintzley said about how she had felt after being informed that she was able to get the transplant she had been waiting for.

The changed schedule has caused classes to be shorter, thus resulting in curriculums being the same way. The schedule has changed multiple times in the 2020-2021 school year, but the one above is the one currently in place. “Given the decreased class time this year, the content did need to be shortened,” teacher Julie Lowman said.
