I really like how were playing shows with these bigger bands that weve seen before and who we love. And theyre always really nice to us; everyone in the scene is supportive, I think mostly because were a new band of teenagers, we get cool points for it, Billings said.

Severna Park High School Student Athletes Open Up about their Mental Health
On Sept. 8, Annapolis Junior Rowing (AJR) practiced a front end pick drill. AJR is based in Annapolis and its population is of students from all over Maryland. Cormac FitzGerald, a rower from Ireland moved to Maryland and joined AJR to continue his rowing career.

Around 4:20 p.m. on Tuesday, May 5, Severna Park High School senior Shubh Agnihotri and Congressional candidate John Morse stand near the Pip Moyer Recreation Center in downtown Annapolis as they regroup after knocking on 44 doors together. “You can always be an asset to your community if you work hard enough to do it, so I really encourage you to look around about the stuff you really care about,” Agnihotri said. Agnihotri coordinated the Young Democrats meeting which John Morse attended to inform youth voters about his policies and the importance of voting/registering to vote.

After having new start and end times, daily cancellations of Falcon Block and several changes in policy to seniors with early release using advisory as their Falcon Block, SPHS has finally settled on a schedule. Now with Falcon Block after first period Tuesday through Friday many seniors are able to get help with their work again, and not worry about a daily change ins cheduals. “It’s hard to find a routine to be successful if everything around us keeps changing,” senior Tatum Sale said.

“My older brother Cam has the biggest impact on my life. He always encourages me to be my best academically, athletically, but specifically a person as a whole. Without him, my love for sports would be no where close to where it is now. I’m so thankful to have him as a mentor and a friend along the way.”

Jack Fish walked out Aiylah during wish night to do the coin toss because she was the honorary team captain for the lacrosse team for the night “My Leadership 2 class helped run the wish week lacrosse game and we got sponsors and we sold those shirts and during the lacrosse game I walked out Aiylah to do the coin toss and she won us the coin toss. Setting up the lacrosse game was probably my favorite part because I was really passionate about it since I was really involved with that.” Fish said

On the observation deck of Edge, a skyscraper, overseeing the New York City skyline. My experience in this leadership position has taught me the vital skills of communication and planning. With hands-on experience working with adults and organizations, I plan to make change at a larger scale, Class President Rory Jenkins said. In college, I plan on participating in student government to make a direct impact in my college community by working alongside professors, older students, and community based organizations. Eventually, I would like to take my understanding of leadership learned through this position to the national level by becoming a member of the United States House of Representatives.
