Stella Bordone is a senior at SPHS who is a new member of the Talon. Bordone is a staff editor who enjoys hanging out with her friends and family, going to Ocean City and traveling. Bordone plays lacrosse and track, with plans to play lacrosse at Lafayette College next year.

Maddy Goger, a senior attending Columbia University with intentions on majoring in neuroscience and biology, is very grateful for her AP Physics 1 & 2 junior year teacher. “I cannot express how grateful I am to have had Mrs. Cosh as a teacher. She made learning difficult topics so interesting and everyone loves physics because of her!”

Sophia Miller, Abby Kavanagh, Lilly Spilker and Karli Kirchenheiter are preparing for their final moments in Severna Park High school. Miller, who is the last member in her family to leave for college after her sister Alex Miller, is ready yet sad. “I think being the last one to leave for college is bittersweet.” Miller said. “My sister is also graduating from college this year, so I think it will be hard for my parents to become empty nesters but also an exciting time in our lives as we prepare for the next chapter of our lives!”

Zachary Yeatman, who participated in the SPHA Entrepreneur Fair, is a young entrepreneur and proud owner of his company JZ Power Washing. Yeatman said, “I worked for someone else who did power washing and went out on my own to start my company.” Yeatman works mostly in Anne Arundel County and areas near it, later planning on going to college, having his workers run the trucks.
