The second round of senior assassin 2026 is coming to its final days, and as more seniors fail to get their targets out, there seems to be more opinions around the app- Splashin. With the server crash, glitching, and slow loading speed the Splashin app seems to be holding on to its last thread.
The Splashin application was released in the early 2000s, and updates to really enhance the app’s accessibility and tracking features. The Splashin app allows schools to create a server to play their game of senior assassin. The app randomly assigns players a target, tracks their location, and tracks eliminations effectively.
The app also offers a premium feature that costs from $2.00-$15.99 a month, and this subscription offers players with live location tracking, instead of having to wait every 10 minutes for a refresh. Premium users can also see every player’s location instead of just their target.
Severna Park High School specifically requested their players to not invest in the premium feature because it gives an unfair advantage. They would like all players to be on the same playing field, and are kicking premium users out of the game if they do not cancel this feature.
Of course it is a more fair game if students do not use the premium feature, but it can also make the game interesting knowing that some players have the upper hand. At the end of the day, premium does come with a price, and only a select few are willing to pay for a slight advantage.
After the Splashin app crashed on April 7 and 8, it caused the first round of senior assassins to pause, but players were not given any additional time to get their target out afterwards. This app crash caused players to let their guards down, stop wearing their goggles, put a stop to any momentum players had, and disrupt any plans that were being put into action.
Before the crash, the app was still very laggy when it came to checking locations. Players already had to wait 10 minutes for a location refresh, and sometimes the app would glitch and give an unreliable location, or no location at all.
But all in all, players are still getting eliminated despite these glitches, so never let your guard down and wear your goggles.
