Wrestling Stars Take on States
four varsity wrestlers will be competing in the state tournament
Broadway brings his opponent down to the mat aggressively. Broadway has used his quickness to his advantage in matches. “He’s so quick it is ridiculous, for his weight class and his size he’s a step higher than his competition,” teammate Jimmy Hopper said.

Today Ty Broadway, Connor Bowes, Connor Saladin and Ron Schilpp will be competing today at the state tournament at the Show Place Arena in Upper Marlboro. Weigh-ins will take place at 12:30 PM on Friday with the first bouts hitting the mats at 2:30 PM. On Saturday, weigh-ins begin at 8 AM with the first bouts of the day starting at 9:30 AM.
