Carey Cameron is a senior at Severna Park. When not hiding out in the pub lab, she is at mock trial practices, or trying to take a nap. She hopes to major in something useless in college and then win the lottery and move to Toronto.

Billie Eilish, writer and singer of “bad guy”, plays a concert in the Anthem venue in Washington D.C. While her tour passed through the DMV in June, many Severna Park residents attended the concert. “Billie was such an amazing performer, and her songs sounded even better live, in front of a sold-out audience,” senior Maddy Gillin said.

Mamma Mia! is one of the most successful fall productions in the school’s history, thanks to the large number of talented students who participate in every facet of the show. The lighting, sets, makeup, microphones, band, and more were put together by students. “The cast is amazing, and combined with the band, lights, and set, it makes the musical fantastic,” said senior Jack Benedict.

The homecoming dance is a beloved high school tradition that includes dressing up and going out to party at the school with the rest of the student body.
